For those of you viewing on the coast, we've been forced to make a programming change. After being in the same time slot and channel (WLOX 13) for thirty years, we were moved due to ABC programming at the station.
The Hour can still be viewed on WLOX CBS, not WLOX ABC. The change begins October 20, and our program is also airing thirty minutes earlier: 7:30am on WLOX CBS.
We apologize for these changes, but it is the only way we could stay on in that area with the same coverage. It was mandatory for us to make the change to 7:30am and to the CBS channel. WLOX related, "We appreciate the relationship we have with The Methodist Hour and are pleased that we can continue this relationship through 2015 and beyond."
You may have this question: If I watch WLOX over the air, how will the new channel appear on my TV?
It will appear as WLOX 13.2 - CBS. If you already receive 13.2 over the air, you should have no problem getting WLOX CBS.
WLOX CBS is carried on cable and satellite. On Cable One on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, WLOX CBS is on HD channel 457, basic cable channel 8 in Pass Christian, Long Beach and Gulfport and basic cable channel 10 in Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Gautier, Moss Point and Pascagoula.
On Mediacom, look for WLOX CBS on channel 4 in Wiggins and channel 10 in the St. Andrews area.
On Dish Network, WLOX CBS is on channel 14. WWL has been removed. The local channels are still in SD on Dish. This applies to Harrison, Jackson, & Stone counties.
On DirecTV, WLOX CBS is on channel 14.
On AT&T U-Verse, WLOX CBS is on channel 3 and 1003.
Again, replays of most of our programs are also available on this site. God bless, and thank you for watching and supporting the work of The United Methodist Hour.
