BRINGING A MESSAGE OF HOPE

Thank you for visiting The United Methodist Hour. We really do want to connect more with our viewers to become more than just a television and radio ministry. We want to proclaim Good News and do good things. As you check out the news below or click through our site, we invite you to partner with us. We truly can help make a difference. . . together!

  • We Reach New Heights in Columbus

The Hour just finished our first TIME TOUR through the city of Columbus. Our "pilgrimage of sorts" took us in the Time Taxi and on a double decker bus to revisit the past while garnering partners for the future. The trip, orchestrated by Lee Burdine and the good folks in the Starkville District, was a huge success. Steve, LaToya, Anthony, Keith, and M.D. got to meet lots of our friends and had a great time. Not only that, but we were able to capture many tapes full of great interviews and sights which will be featured on the next three weeks of our program (starting November 27). We sing around the piano at our bed and breakfast, tour antebellum homes, find the origins of Memorial Day, sculpt the Head of Christ, and get to know some really great people. Join us for our programs in "Possum Town!"
